In 2020, after an 11-month deployment overseas, I was eager to embark on a new adventure: gold prospecting. Influenced by the thrilling Goldrush shows, I sensed it was the perfect moment to delve into this exciting pursuit. The moment I started, I was hooked. There was something enchanting about sifting through dirt, searching for that glint of gold. What made it even more special was the quality time I got to spend with my family and friends, all united by a shared passion for prospecting. Along the way, I crossed paths with some truly remarkable individuals, each with their own unique stories and experiences. Yet, the most cherished aspect has been the enduring memories I've been able to create with my kids.
